Our Centrifuged Coconut Oil is made from fresh coconuts, which are opened within 48 hours of being picked from the trees. The freshly shelled and chopped coconut flesh is placed in an expeller press. Expeller presses use pressure instead of chemical solvents to yield a pure, uncontaminated oil. This gentle and natural pressing yields a pure oil with a 0.1 % Moisture content and 57% Lauric Acid content.
